Can you get true ringworm on your foot?

Yes, technically athlete’s foot is ringworm. I know this. But I also know that I’ve never seen or heard of raised red ring appearing on the foot 6 weeks into the treatment of what I originally thought was athlete’s foot.

It itches horribly, and nothing helps. I’d have seen a docter weeks ago if my mom “had the time,” but she hasn’t *needs that nap every day after work. she gets home at noon, eats, then sleeps till five, which is when the place i go would be closing. such a careing and responsible mother she is*

Anyone know what can cause these raised, red rings? Keep in mind, I’ve been treating the foot religiously for two weeks longer than the treatment requires.

Could I have gotten a ringworm from my fiance if he had athlete’s foot?
