should a ringworm rash be covered to prevent spreading?

poof10958 asked: Ringworm is a fungal infection on the skin. It is being treated with an antifungal cream bought over the counter. Should the rash be covered? The pharmacist said no but Web MD said it is spread by skin to skin contact. What do you think?
