Find The Solution For Ring Worm Here
Ringworm Treatment FAQ :

My dog had a bald spot that my vet diagnosed as ringworm. He said it is a fungus and would go away on its own, just keep the area shaved, clean and dry. It looks crusty and horrible. It doesn’t seem to bother the dog, it just looks awful. Is there any thing to do (that isn’t bad for the dog) to help it heal faster? My vet said there are medications but they can have side effects and it usually goes away on its own in 4-8 weeks.

I would suggest dipping your pet in a dip called LYM dip, this will clear the problem up.You can purchase this dip at any local feed outlet,or go online and order it from any pet supply.Follow directions on bottle and repeat in two to 3 wks.

You could go and buy an antifungal cream to put on it, also neem oil is very good, this also helps increase the immune system functions, promotes, healthy skin, teeth, coat, bones, protects from fleas, ticks, worms, mites and doesn’t harm the dog like chemical steroids, which is what the vet would have given you…………..be very careful it is contagious to humans, especially children, so use gloves when putting anything on and disposable paper towels

Find another Vet! First of all Ringworm is HIGHLY contagious to humans, as well. It will NOT go away on it’s own. Let me tell you about a true story: About 2 years ago, a friend of mine’s daughter bought a little Yorkie. The pup was diagnosed with ringworm, that was NOT treat aggressively from the get go. Finally, after months of treatment, they couldn’t get rid of it at all. Everyone in the family had it, and the dog was so miserable from NOT responding to treatment, they had to put it to sleep. I know this sounds horrible, but it is true. The dog would NOT respond to treatment. I suggest you get a Vet that doesn’t blow this off, and in the meantime, ask the pharmacist what over the counter medication would be best for you to use for Ringworm on a dog. I am completely serious about this. Your Vet is an AZZ!

I’m not really sure why he wasn’t more serious about it, ringworm is highly contagious, and humans can get it… I would get a second opinion…

I would also call your family physician and see if there is anything you can do to prevent the spreading of it to your family…

Put nustock on it, should help it heal faster.

we use it for various skin ailments, like the occasional mange bout and scrapes.

I would suggest wearing gloves while applying it, so that you don’t catch ringworm
