no, it has nothing to do with good hygiene.
It just means that you were unlucky enough to come in contact with ringworm, not that you’re dirty. It’s not any different than catching the flu or chicken pox so don’t let this make you feel bad about yourself!
My daughter had it , shes not dirty and neither are you, she got it off the cattle on our farm
