I went to the doctor and she said I have ringworm. It is ALL over my arms from the top of my shoulders to my wrists. I’ve been prescribed medication for 30 days and I take it 4 times a day. I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks now and my arms seem to be getting worse instead of better. Should I go back to the doctor or just wait it out?

As gross as this sounds, it’s completely true. I had ringworm on my face… Yuck was it ever gross. I religiously used my cream and medication, just as the doctor prescribed, and it took a long time to clear up. Around 5 weeks…
If it does get really bad, please go to the doctor! He or She is the only one who knows the best. But I would just wait it out for three more weeks before I did.
Also, you could wear a sweater, or long-sleeved shirt to cover it up for now, especially because it’s getting cold.
by the way it sounds you’ve got it pretty bad. and seems like the doc only prescribed meds by mouth, if you want to try to get rid of it sooner you can use some antifungal cream on it, like the kind used for athlete’s foot…it’s the same type of fungus. I’ve been using it for years, everytime I’ve had a ringworm I use that, I grew up around a lot of animals so I had them a few times…It usually clears it up within 3 weeks and it should start looking better quicker than what the pills do. you just put it on twice a day and you can cover it with some gauze if you want or just let it breath.good luck with that
