Ringworm is a fungus, and lives naturally in the soil. Freezing temperatures won’t kill it, and there is really nothing you’re going to do about it. The only thing that kills ringworm is bleach and a couple of special anti-fungal agents, but they are all meant to clean up the indoors after an infestation, and were not meant to clean up the out-of-doors.

I would say bleach and a yard sprayer!!!
When one of our dogs got parvo we had to
bleach the entire backyard!! We bought a sprayer
in the garden section at wall- mart($12)It
took a while to spray the whole yard but worked!!!!
(The best thing to put on ringworm if you do come in contact
is Lamisil or any other athletic foot cream!!!)
