Ashley asked:
I’ve had this ringworm on my arm before. I went to the doctor and they prescribed me a cream. I used it and it went away in about a month. Now it’s back again after a year and it has spread to another spot on my arm. How can I get rid of it or help it go away since I cannot get in to see a dermatologist for a few weeks?
I still have the cream but it’s from last year so I think it has expired. Plus I rather take a pill.

I’m assuming you don’t have the cream still?
Be careful as ringworm doesn’t just come back after it’s been contained. You’re still exposing yourself to the same thing that caused you to get it in the first place.
I wrestled and got ringworm, they told me I needed the cream. It won’t go away on its own in two weeks without the cream. By then the three days with cream will seem like nothing.
- Ringworm is not actually a worm, it’s an infection.
its actually a fungal infection. so an anti-fungal medication might help. I have used rubbing alchohol to help stop the spread while i waited for the dr to have an opening. i’ve also hear a bleach/water solution can help (but tends to dry and irritate the skin around that area) you dont need a dermatoligist though, its such a common thing that a general doctor can prescribe a cream that will take care of it.
get some alcohol and dab it around then dab in the area so it cant move around for about one-two weeks
