No it doses not .It is easy to get rid of how ever so get a script from the doctor for some salve .It is very contagious but not through the blood .Jock itch ,athletes foot and ring worm are all fungus ,ringworm being the most contagious wash and disinfect scalp,nails and where ever you have it .

Easiest way to hget rid of ringworm – Get some sunlight on it.
