you can try to use it. Anything for athletes foot should work. The kitten or the mother may lick it off. Treating a kitten may be difficult so check with you vet first, cause it would need a tiny tiny amount of ketaconozole if the cream doesn't work

No - this is definitely not an age to be self-medicating the kittens. Mom is still nursing them, and will ingest ANYTHING you put on them. None of those topical anti-fungal creams were meant to be taken orally. What is safe for an older kitten is not necessarily safe in one that is still nursing. This is a question for the vet, not one for YA, to be sure that the treatment is safe for Mom and the kittens.

My 7 week old kitten had ringworm on her mouth and they told me to put any foot fungus cream on it like Tinactin. I am not sure if you should since it is a really young one, but give your vet a call and just ask.

Please do not give that little kitten any meds at this time it is way too young. Do not put flee stuff on it either and if it does have some flees just put some baby powder on it for now . You must wait til they are at least 12 weeks old.

Call the vet, if there is something over the counter that you can use they can tell you. Those are human medications. Everything that ends up on a cat will get in its stomach. It just isn't worth the risk.

It is IMPERATIVE to ask a vet directly.
That is why they have a license and malpractice insurance. If someone gives you direct medical advice that inadvertently has a bad reaction or worse to your kitty... they could be really liable. I am only saying this to protect everyone. Not to be a jerk. I hope you understand.
It only takes a phone call and it is free.
I will say that ringworm is a real pain in the but and as you probably found out is highly contagious to you and other pets. There are many ways to treat it. Ask your vet to take the time to go over them all. Some cost more than others. Some involve bathes, dips, pills, or lotions. You DO have a choice so make sure the vet is aware that you are asking for a reason.
Good Luck. It will be ok.

I wouldn't try it.

I would go to your vet.
My kitten had ringworms and they gave her a tiny pill to mix in with her food.
